An enthusiastic and passionate degree-educated Maths tutor
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
Hi, my name is Natasha, and I'm a maths tutor (for KS3, GCSE or A-Level). I've recently completed a BSc Mathematics degree at the University of Bath, earning a first, and am now undertaking a mathematics-based masters course in Edinburgh. I have received an A* in A-level Maths and Further Maths, as well as an A* in GCSE maths. I am passionate and enthusiastic about maths, and would describe myself as adaptable and responsible.
On top of my maths qualification, I also have experience in tutoring. At university, I worked as a Mathematics Tutor in my second and third years, facilitating drop-in sessions for first year maths students. This involved assisting with problems related to course content, or weekly take-home sheets. In addition, I have informally assisted a student for the last several years, who has managed to top the class in a number of tests, and now has a genuine passion for maths, aiming to take the subject at A-level next year.
I have always had a genuine passion for maths and for teaching, and really enjoy combining to two. I always find it incredibly rewarding helping students develop their own passion for maths via increasing their underlying understanding of the subject.
