A bit about Elizabeth E

I have been teaching since 1997. I have taught overseas and in secondary schools in the U.K. My last role focused mainly on GCSE Language but I also teach Literature to all Levels. I have taught a lot of Shakespeare over the years, I aim to help students develop of love of the Bard but equally, I am an experienced English Language Teacher. I work with students developing their skills in writing in a range of forms including transactional, discursive and imaginative. I use high quality texts to study which have been previously used by both AQA and Edexcel. My philosophy is that learning takes places easily if the student is enjoying the session whether that be because they enjoy the subject matter, learning activity or their level of participation. Every student is different and it is my job to find out what the student prefers and tailor the lesson to their needs.
