I’m an Economics student at the University of Bath. I have over two years experience tutoring Maths and Geography from Primary to GCSE, and I work with AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I began tutoring GCSE Maths and Geography in 2022. I would assist with a classroom full of students, during lunch breaks, three times a week. Here my passion for tutoring developed, and in 2024 I became a private tutor, with my proudest achievement being watching a year 11 Edexcel Maths student improve from a Grade 2 in one set of mocks to a Grade 4 in the latest set. I have particular experience in Edexcel Maths and AQA Geography, however, I am comfortable with both exam boards for the subjects. I achieved 9 GCSEs; 7 9's and 2 8's. I recently finished my A-Levels, achieving an A* in Economics, an A in Maths, an A in Geography and an A* in my EPQ. I wrote my EPQ on an Economic model 'Doughnut Economics', made by Kate Rayworth, combining the economy's growth with sustainability. I have a particular interest in environmental responsibility and learning about sustainable development through Economics. I love making learning engaging and accessible, helping students build confidence in their subjects. Outside of tutoring, you’ll find me reading, walking, playing netball, playing tennis or running by the beach. I am very family orientated, and my love for working with children has come through babysitting, coaching netball and family activities. Let's learn together!
