A bit about Francesca C

I have the Cambridge ESOL (English to speakers of other languages) Celta qualification which means I am qualified to teach English as a Foreign Language. I have taught teenagers English at Summer study schools, I have taught for the Trinity English exams (100 percent pass rate). Also successfully taught IELTS for university entrance. I also taught City and Guilds English ESOL tests for 3 years. I have a degree in French and Italian and was a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school for 1-2 years sometimes helping teenagers with French and German. I love teaching and helping students get the best from their lessons. English as a foreign Language. I have successfully taught university entrance test (IELTS), also Trinity English exam and City and Guilds English Skills for Life tests (E1-E3). I have a degree in French and Italian so can help with French and Italian conversation, etc. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school for two years and as a Learner Support Assistant to pupils at 6th Form college I plan lessons carefully ensuring there is an aim and good wrapping up. I plan to ensure the main aim of the lesson is clearly presented with plenty of practice for the student and allowing for the student to bring their own experience to the lesson where possible, making the lesson fun too! Also checking the lesson has been understood and advising where extra work may be needed. In 2011 after I took the Cambridge ESOL CELTA course to teach English as a Foreign Language. I have worked at approximately 7 Summer Schools, at least one of these working towards Trinity English tests. I worked for one year at a school in Oxford teaching study groups English. I worked for 3 years at a local Adult Education College teaching Beginner level-Intermediate English ESOL tests. I have successfully taught IELTS, one student gaining entrance to Cambridge.
