A bit about Terry P

I am a retired mental health nurse with many years of experience with qualifications in nurse assessment, and vocational training and assessment. Having qualified as TEFL teacher qualifying with a distinction from my college, recently this year. If you are looking for a mature English Teacher to help you improve your English written or oral, then please message me. I am experienced in providing 1 to 1 tutoring for health care professionals and ancillary staff helping them with English understanding and pronounciation. Teaching Business English to Foreign Students. Teaching Listening Skills required for understanding and comprehension. Teaching English with limited resources. Teaching English for Academic Purposes My passion is to help people to attain their goals, and improve their English both spoken and written. To watch people grow in confidence in their language choice and conversational skills. Having students undertaking nursing education, teaching them the basics of anatomy and philosophy, and being able to simulate that which is taught with the practical elements of care. Teaching them how to write an academic paper in order to gain high marks during the exam process, and the need to be able to orally present reports to the group. Student learning is very individual, and I am happy to explain to students in more than one way so as they gain the understanding necessary to learn.
