A bit about Hannah K

Hello, I'm Hannah! I am an English and Qualified EFL Teacher with 5 years’ experience. In this time, I have taught over 200 students. Alongside, my own client base, I am also employed as an Online ESL teacher with an internationally renowned company "in China". I work with all ages, levels, nationalities and needs. Prior to being a full-time teacher, I worked in one of the UK’s leading EFL schools as a Language Assistant. I have a BA in English Literature with Creative Writing, as well as an MA in Literature from the University of York. I believe part of being a great teacher is being an avid learner, so I am also learning Spanish and Italian. I specialise in EFL - as I have taught this for 5 years. I also teach English Language and Literature from Primary to degree level. Here are some examples of what I am currently teaching: - Essay Writing Skills and Proofreading Feedback - EFL - KS2 English and Maths - Grammar Practice - Creative Writing Editing It’s all about you! You are the director of your tuition. While following the curriculum/exam board is paramount, getting where you want to be starts by meeting you where you are. I strongly encourage students to be self-reflective and think about what areas they find most challenging. This is helpful in determining how to structure the exam and lesson content in a direction that is going to challenge and strengthen the target areas. Often in classrooms, students can get overlooked who are working below or exceeding expectations. I am inspired by wanting to help those at the level they are and encouraging their confidence with knowledge.
