A bit about Sky R

I am available to tutor Maths, English and Government & Politics. Maths I specialise in Number and Algebra. Within English I am confident to tutor for any GCSE spec, including Poetry, Shakespeare, 20th century novels, and English Language. With Politics, I specialise in British systems, ideologies for A Level, and International Relations and Feminism for degree level. I have worked with tutoring establishments for over 6 years, and have been a private tutor, both face to face and online, for two years. I balance my sessions with my full time role as a teaching assistant at a local school. My favourite part of tutoring is seeing my students progress, both academically and with their personal confidence. It's rewarding when students read a question and then respond: "Ah, I know what to write now!" I also enjoy when a student first reads a problem and initially feels overwhelmed, then by the end of our session can confidently complete multiple, complex problems of that topic. I have A*/A at GCSE for English Language, Maths and English Literature. I have studied Maths, Government & Politics and Economics at A Level, and read International Relations and Politics at University. I have an up to date DBS certificate too.
