A bit about Mairead H

I achieved the following in my GCSEs: English Literature - 9 (Equivalent to an A*) English Language - 9 (Equivalent to an A*), with a Distinction in the Spoken Language assessment. Mathematics - 8 (Equivalent to an A*) Biology - A* Physics - A* Chemistry - A* History - A* Spanish - A* Religious Education - A* I achieved the following in my A Levels: History - A* Spanish - A English Literature - A Students love the way that I incorporate their interests and hobbies into my lessons, ensuring that I get to know what kind of teaching style is best suited to them before engaging in sessions with them. Students also have reported that I set them an adequate amount of work during the week to ensure that they are staying engaged in the content. Some of my current students have fed back that they like how I have their best interests at heart, noting that it is important to them that I show that the only thing that motivates me is their success. I only ever want my students to do their very best and feel an immense amount of pride when a student I have been working with for months achieves their goal or beyond. I specialise in English tutoring for students of all ages. I have a wealth of experience teaching students from lots of different backgrounds how to write cohesive, thoughtful pieces of work that engages fully in the question posed. With a background in reading both English and Spanish Literature as part of my A Level and Degree work, I am able to explain concepts in accessible ways, ensuring that the student is stretched to achieve their goals.
