I am a qualified English teacher with an MSc from Oxford University and over 20 years of experience teaching both English Lang. and Lit., including GCSE, A Level and the IB Diploma. I have examiner experience (Edexcel & CIE) and with extensive experience of teaching 'Macbeth', 'A Xmas Carol', 'An Inspector Calls', 'The Tempest', 'Romeo and Juliet', The Merchant of Venice', 'A Taste of Honey', 'Of Mice and Men', 'To Kill a Mockingbird', 'A Streetcar Named Desire', 'Jekyll and Hyde', many many poems on various exam board syllabuses and numerous other texts, I consider myself to have a wide range of expertise in teaching English literature. I have taught in the UK at both grammar and comprehensive schools and, internationally in Japan, the UAE and Vietnam. I am a qualified SENCO and hold an MSc in Learning and Teaching from Oxford University. GCSE/IGCSE exam boards which I have had the opportunity to teach are AQA (GCSE), Edexcel (GCSE), CIE (IGCSE) and Oxford AQA (IGCSE). Kent is my hometown and I am married with two sons.
