Hello, my name is Nagasharan. I completed my undergraduate studies in Biomedical Science at King’s College London, and I am currently pursuing Medicine at Queen Mary University of London. Initially I used to struggle with all 3 sciences and exams used to scare me, as I didn’t have a good revision strategy. But through speaking to teachers and seeking help I was able to develop effective note taking and revision methods that has helped me reach where I am today. However, by actively seeking guidance from my teachers and experimenting with different study strategies, I developed effective note-taking and revision methods. Research in medical education supports the value of these techniques—studies have shown that active recall and structured revision strategies can significantly improve comprehension and long-term retention of complex material . Beyond academics, I maintain a balanced lifestyle by engaging in various sports. I enjoy playing rugby, table tennis, badminton, and swimming—activities that not only keep me physically active but also sharpen my discipline and focus. Additionally, as a Formula 1 fan, I relish the thrill of the races and the strategic elements of the sport.
