A bit about Lucy C

Experienced fully qualified Latin, Classics and Art teacher and Oxford graduate with 8 years experience. Oxbridge coach. Creative and emotionally intelligent tutor with knowledge of a variety of exam boards. I coach my students to great things! Excellent track record of top grades and acceptances to top universities. Latin, Classical Civilisation, Ancient History, Art, Oxbridge, Common Entrance, Beginners to Advanced, GCSE to Degree. Tutoring scheme of work tailored on a lesson by lesson basis, methodically working through areas of difficulty in collaboration with each student. Excellent employment of online tools. 2016 I love seeing each student grow and find out things about my subjects that they never would have believed they could excel at or be intrigued by. It is privilege to work with students closely in their learning journeys and share their triumphs, as well as boost their confidence when they are feeling unsure. I have 2:1 in Classics from Wadham College, University of Oxford and a PGCE in Classics with Latin from Homerton College, University of Cambridge. Even if a student is very demotivated about a subject or feels like there is nothing they can do right at it, it is always possible to find some aspect or element of the learning of it that they like or that resonates with their interests.
