A bit about Isha

I generally plan my lessons using a range of devices. Firstly, it depends on what type of learner the students is (audio, visual, etc). Based on this I formulate lessons using powerpoints, video slides, worksheets and educational games, to increase the level of attention and alertness from the student. I have found that this method works wonders and continues to provide results. I first began at 15, when I was a student in school. I tutored mainly KS2 students as that was the curriculum I knew and remembered. I quickly learned to love teaching. My mother is a tutor and a university professor and I gained many of my resources from teacher-only websites, giving my students the extra edge and push they need. I have since continued to pursue it and worked with children as a teaching assistant, childcare nanny, tutor and much more. My greatest success with teaching was when I tutored a group of 11+ students in a class of 11. Being used to 1:1 tution students; a class of 11 was especially new to me at the time. The aim was to get all students in to grammar school at the end of the academic year, which was a big task at hand. I was happy to say that out of 11 students I tutored, 10 received entry into top grammar schools in the UK. I was so glad and ended up teaching many of their siblings due to my success rate.
