A bit about Amit G

Hi my names Amit and I've been a Maths tutor for 7 years. All of my students have achieved higher than their expected grades. My job is to not just teach maths, but to make sure each student unlocks their potential and becomes confident within themselves. My favourite thing about being tutor is seeing a student excel. Hearing that they've either moved up a set in school or smashed their exams is the reason I do this! My typical lesson is split. The first 10 minutes is a recap over the homework and previous lesson. I'd then go on to explain the new topic with numerous examples and then get the student to explain more examples back to me. If a student can explain a full question to me, they have mastered the topic. I teach 11+. I teach Maths for Years 7 -11. I teach for every exam board. I have a Masters Degree in Mathematics and have been tutoring for over 7 years I love teaching Maths because I love showing students that it's not as boring/hard as school makes out. When I explain what each topic brings to the real world, the student understands it a lot better.
