A bit about Michael R

I'm a qualified English teacher and an English enthusiast. I love making the seemingly difficult, simple! Having studied under the guidance of education practitioner, John Yandell, coupled with over two years working as a full-time English teacher. I have a wealth of experience which has helped me to cultivate engaging lessons that ensure a lively and progressive classroom atmosphere. I'm eager to help new students conquer the complexities of the English language. I specialise in teaching the English language and literature. I am eager to educate the next generation on the rich history of English writers; both modern and old. Commonly read literature like Shakespeare, and poetry from Victorian age, Romantic Period and the twentieth century onwards. Students often praise how interactive the lessons are. As I tailor each lesson and learning objective to suit the student, no lesson feels the same or generic but each lesson is updated with relevant content which surround the students interest. I teach both AQA and Edexcel, and I have past papers, mark schemes for students to evaluate their progress in my lessons.
