A bit about Rehana B

I teach engaging targeted lessons that ensure students acquire concise knowledge which is specific to the curriculum. I strongly believe it is crucial, students know exactly how to approach exam questions and are given feedback on how to improve. All my lessons aim to enhance confidence, and facilitate a can-do attitude. I provide weekly reports and set targets. Where necessary I breakdown hard-to-grasp scientific concepts by building upon the basics. Although I completed my PGCE in Secondary science (Chemistry), I have experience of teaching science at KS3, KS4 along with A-Level Biology and Chemistry. Furthermore, I have taught a range of students with SEN, including those with dyslexia and ADHD, and G&T. From a very young age I developed a passion for science. I am mesmerised at the fact that you can relate key scientific concepts to everyday life. I believe it is truly amazing that you can use a theoretical or a hands-on approach to fully understand scientific concepts. I have experience of teaching AQA, OCR and Edexcel science specification at KS3 and KS4. Moreover, I also have substantive experience of teaching the AQA and OCR science specification for A-Level Biology and Chemistry.
