A bit about Bethany F

I begin each lesson with an engaging warm-up game. After warming up with a bit of friendly competition, we then focus on two key topics during the lesson with an interactive activity at the end. I demonstrate each topic first and ask the student to gradually take control of the tasks. As a qualified primary school teacher, I specialise in tutoring English, Maths and the 11+ entrance exam. I also tutor Key Stage 3 students in Maths, English, Science and Geography. Many of my students like to use me as a 'revision buddy' in some of their other subjects too as I can provide them with revision techniques and a friendly, non-judgemental attitude. I have a distinction in PGCE Primary Education. I also have a BA in Geography from The University of Nottingham.
