A bit about Henry D

I started tutoring with MyTutor three years ago, and during that time I have tutored over 400 lessons with entirely five-star reviews. I've helped students surpass (and in some cases even double!) their predicted grades, and nothing makes me happier than seeing a student realise they can exceed their own expectations. I think that one-to-one lessons work really well as a dialogue, so that's how I try to run my lessons. Rather than me asking you to write an essay while I watch, my usual approach is to bring up a text or source that we can look at together, before picking it apart and analysing it together as practice. - 400 hours' tutoring experience, accrued over three years with MyTutor - First-class honours in History, from the University of Sussex. I am now undertaking a master's course at the same institution. - A-Levels: one A* (English Literature), three As (History, Music, Music Technology) - AS-Levels: one A* (Politics and Government) In my experience of being a tutor, I have helped students most frequently with GCSE English (both language and literature). I can cover all English curriculums and exam boards. As a history graduate, I of course teach history regularly too. I can do this right up to A-Level, and have experience not only of helping guide students to better exam technique and revision, but also of teaching content first-hand.
