A bit about Lois

I am a qualified primary teacher with 15 years classroom experience and 4 years working as a one-to-one tutor. I have a great deal of teaching experience in the primary classroom in both the UK and internationally. I am able offer support with maths and English within key stages 1 and 2 of the National Primary Curriculum and can provide preparation for SAT’s. I am also a qualified English language teacher and can offer support to EAL learners. My approach to learning is to ensure that children are as engaged and active as possible, whilst allowing them to work at a pace which is right for them. I have a supportive and patient teaching style. My strength lies in building self-confidence in children, thus allowing them to believe in their own abilities to overcome any difficulties they may be having with their school work.
