Experienced tutor and medic specialising in science subjects
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
I am a graduate with an undergraduate degree in Medical Science and Humanities and an MSc in Nanomedicine. I'm also currently studying medicine. I have tutored throughout my studies and have found great success with my students. I have also taught internationally at summer schools which have allowed me to develop my skills and also establish a teaching style that is adaptable to the needs of the student.
I really love to travel, as I feel that the world is so big and there to be explored. On ym travels I have learnt so much about myself and other cultures which has given me the confidence to continually put myself out there. I fuelled this passion of travel into my blog where I document my travels and other lifestyle activties.
My teaching philosphy revolves around the fact that everyone is unique and individual. I beleive that the teaching experience should factor this in and provide touch points for individuals to feel like they're in control of their learning. I like to facilitate learning rather than dictate it and I believe that's the most empowering way to teach.
I teach AQA and OCR. I work with year groups from year 4 until year 13.
