A bit about Tom M

I first began tutoring back in 2014 for Generating Genius, a charity supporting students from under-represented backgrounds in higher education Physics - GCSE, A-Level and Foundation Degree Level Maths - GCSE, A-Level, and Foundation Degree Level Further Maths - GCSE and A Level Chemistry - GCSE, A-Level and Foundation Degree Level Biology - GCSE I love teaching and supporting students through their educational journey. Whether that be aspiring Oxbridge or medical students or a student aiming to get a Grade 5 to progress to their desired course, I am dedicated to ensure they reach their journey. As well as offering extensive support in Maths and Science, I also support students with university and college applications as well finding work experience, supporting CV and Cover letters and ensuring that they are a well-rounded student. I aim to foster a friendly and comfortable environment for students, so they are safe to push themselves and exceed their potential. I track students throughout the year, ensuring I know where their weak points are and developing their confidence in exams. I have had great success over the years, with students heading to leading universities across the country, including Oxford, Imperial and UCL. I am a fully qualified teacher and bring a wealth of experience from working with hundreds of students, therefore I am confident I can help support your child to reach their potential. Claire was a struggling Year 12 student, with recent exam grades of CDD in Maths, Further Maths and Physics. Over a period of 10 weeks, she managed to raise her grades to A*AB, before achieving a predicted grade of A*A*A after exams in the September of Year 13. I helped support her for an interview with Imperial, which she subsequently received an offer and managed to meet the offer, with a final set of grades of A*A*A.
