A bit about Michael C

I possess a degree in Literary Studies from the University of Glasgow and a 120 hour TEFL Certificate. My previous employment includes teaching English and music to adults and childred as young as 3. I have worked as an English tutor for 3 years now. I enjoy playing, listening and recording music. My instruments are guitar and drums. My other hobbies include reading and taking my dog on nice walks. I prefer a more informal style where the student can learn in ways that are fun and useful. Visual aids and props are great to use for younger children. I also like to converse about simple, every day topics and get the student comfortable with talking about themselves and their interests as this is more useful in situations. I first began tutoring about six years ago by teaching guitar and drums to children. I transitioned to English and have taught this for three years now.
