I have a 2.1 in my BA(Hons) English degree from Leeds Metropolitan University and a Masters in Twentieth-Century Literature. I achieved my PGCE in Secondary English from the University of Leeds. 

I have been a qualified teacher since 2011 and have worked in a variety of different schools. I am particularly strong when teaching GCSE English Language and Literature with the AQA exam board, and I was a Lead Teacher for this for almost 4 years.

I love to teach others to help them achieve their goals and see young people grow in confidence and in their abilities. English is a subject which is so diverse and can open so many opportunities to those who understand the language well. I want to support others to become more confident and enthusiastic about English.
