A bit about Zofia S

I am currently a postgraduate student at UCL. I'm very passionate at teaching Maths and English (KS2 - A-Levels) The lessons are usually focused on one topic. I give a brief introduction to the topic, but the lessons tend to be more student-based. We begin by solving problems together and with a little bit of help I push my students to solve examples which challenge their current level. Everything is interaction-based and, most importantly, I am there for the student and their needs (not vice versa!). I started tutoring four years ago. I have taught AQA, Edexcel and OCR. It is a joyful subject and I wish to change students' misconceptions that it is boring! Lots of communication, interaction and joint work. I focus on adapting to the student's needs and on challenging them to grow.
