A bit about Ann M

I specialise in teaching all levels from beginners through to GCSE/A Level and Oxbridge in French and Italian. I have taught adults and pupils alike of all abilities and including exam coaching for native speakers. I have taught in mainstream education for over 25 years as well as Adult evening classes so I have a vast range of experience to offer. I have also examined in both languages both in writing and in speaking. I have a combined honours degree in French and Italian and I also have a teaching qualification. My wealth of experience in both state and independent schools has qualified me to recognise needs and support learners with language difficulties. I have been a Head of Subject and a pastoral lead in my school roles. I am fully prepared to tailor lessons to the needs of the learner and offer a bespoke service with resources to support each stage of learning. I am an online tutor in the North West of England. Until recently I was a full time teacher in a state secondary school. During the recent lockdowns I taught on line lessons and have excellent resources to support language learning. I love walking, running and exploring new areas in my spare time.
