Learn to play drums from an experienced performer and teacher.
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
Online drum lessons with an experienced performer, bringing drumming from the real-world into the classroom. All abilities welcome, hobbyist or professional, complete beginner up to degree and beyond (I am a degree level lecturer at the Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford, UK). Styles such as Rock, Funk, Pop, Latin, and Jazz are covered, with access to literally hundreds of high-quality backing tracks to practice with. Rockschool grades are available and I have a 100% merit or higher pass rate.
I have a 1st class BMus (Hons) Professional Music Performance degree from the Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford, UK. Since graduating I have taken lessons from many of the worlds greatest drummers; Dave Weckl, Peter Erskine, Bruce Becker, Pete Riley, and Neal Wilkinson.
During my lessons I make use of the screen share facility within Zoom to show exercises that I have created, or if needed I can write out new ones during the lesson. Any resources that I use in the lesson are then sent to you after the lesson.
My professional experience includes touring the UK's theatres in tribute bands, West End and Off West End, plenty of functions & corporate events, and recording from my home studio for clients worldwide.
