A bit about Emma A

I have been teaching for over 7 years and a qualified GCSE and Post 16 teacher and examiner. I have a professional background as a Podiatrist and a qualified teacher, remotely and face to face. I love marking and embed exam practice into every lesson. I enjoy reading and cycling, and adore teaching for that 'lightbulb' student learning moment Psychology (GCSE & A Level), Sociology (GCSE), Health & Social Care (Level 2 & L3), coaching for the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), Exam techniques I plan my lessons according to the exam board specification, along with the students baseline assessment at the beginning of our learning journey together. I ensure students are exam ready, embedding exam techniques and memory skills to recall concepts enabling achievement at the examination. I have been teaching for over 7 years, I first starting remote tutoring during the pandemic two years ago, and think students get so much more out of 1:1 teaching
