A bit about Paris

I started tutoring 2 years ago when my little sister needed help with her IGCSES, from then on - I loved seeing her feel more confident and when her grades started to improve we both felt such a sense of achievement. I then started tutoring on zoom and have never looked back! I completed the IB for my high school degree. Here, it was compulsory to do a language, a science, a form of English, maths and a humanity. Thus, I am confident to tutor Sports and Exercise Science/PE, Biology, Business Studies and primary level maths :) I cater to the curriculum of what course you are studying. That may be IGCSE, IB or primary KS3. Following this, I will address any questions you have from lessons and then work through areas of difficulty you incur. Regular practice, using exam-style questions will be used to help you prepare! I've been in your position before! Struggling to succeed in any subject or at school can be super super stressful so I love that I can fully understand and hopefully change your perspective on the subject we choose to work on together! :) As I have undertaken IGCSE, GCSE and IB myself, I am best at teaching these exam boards. I have studied these mark schemes inside and out and know exactly what examiners like and dislike! Equally, primary year groups are amazing to teach as they are at a point where they can greatly progress if they find a teaching style that suits them. I am committed to catering to these needs. I want each student to succeed and am committed to providing exactly that. Love all sports, coffee and food! I have lived in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and the UK. I have tutored in 2 of these countries - exposing me to a wide range of students. This has shaped me into an adaptive tutor that enjoys shifting teaching styles based on what is most conducive to you and your ability to learn. I believe that learning is a privilege and that it should be made enjoyable. I can cover all exam boards and you can always rely on me to provide you with a fun but educational session - making you increasingly confident in your ability within the subject you choose!
