A bit about Zaiba

I am very passionate about education, as I hope my former students will attest to! I recently completed a Master's degree in education at the University of Oxford and have taught history for four years. I have a proven track record in helping my students achieve highly. I believe strongly that we learn best when we are interested in what we're learning about. I will ensure that lessons are catered to your needs. We can work together to achieve whatever you'd like - to pass exams, get into university, or pursue your interest with a tutor that can push you to be an excellent learner in your chosen subject. I love what I do, and I hope I can pass this enthusiasm on to you! If you like the sound of that, please do get in touch. I'm happy to do a free introduction and a half price first session so that you can be sure you want to work with me. I look forward to hearing from you! I love teaching any kind of History. I am particularly passionate about decolonising the curriculum. Whilst I will most certainly stick to your exam spec, I will try to make sure the learning is as rich and varied as possible. I also know lots about GCSE RE, particularly Islam and Christianity. I studied politics alongside history at university so I can tutor you in politics too. I am friendly and enthusiastic. I take great care to ensure you're getting the best possible experience. I've studied how to be a great teacher from some of the best in the field, and I hope all this expertise shines through. I love coming up with creative ways to learn things, and fascinating questions that will keep you thinking about the subject you're learning about. I've attended the University of Oxford where I did my PGCE and my Master's in Education. I've also done lots of extra learning, writing and about teaching in conferences, and even some with international reach.
