A bit about Emilia

I am a 4th year medical student based in the UK. I have extensive experience in tutoring all age groups (from 5 years old to 25 years old). I can tutor history, philosophy and English to A-level/IB standard. I achieved top marks in these subjects at school and am extremely passionate about them. My lessons are always tailored towards your curriculum and mark schemes of the exam. I can also work with aspiring medical students who are preparing for medical school. I offer interview practice and personal statement checking. I first started tutoring history at GCSE level and I have never looked back! My classes are not only about teaching students tailored towards their specific exam board, but also to spark interest and passion about that subject area, encouraging skills like critical thinking. My tutees have provided me with excellent feedback and have gone on to study that subject at university level. I achieved 41 points in my IB (A*A*A*) and I now study medicine. I am in my 4th year our of 5. I am DBS checked and have tutored children as young as 5 years old. I love hiking, travelling and meeting new people! I also love medical research and have an interest in public health. I think it is important to never stop learning - it allows us to understand one another and make the world a better place!
