A bit about Keisha P

I am currently a Law student at the University of Warwick, I have a passion for interacting with and helping people as well as travelling! I was an au pair in Milan for 2 months on my gap year where I combined my two passions and aided the children in their English speaking skills! I specialise in English and Maths sessions for children from the ages of 7 to 13, as well as preparations for 11+ and SATS exams. My lessons consist of working through examples with students and explaining the concepts to them, then it is time for them to put their newly learnt skills to good use! This is done through attempting numerous questions and marking them in class. I started tutoring over a year ago for an institute as a part time job, this later became a full time role during my gap year where I delivered 15 sessions a week to students from Year 3 to Year 11. During this role, I was also supporting some students for their entrance exams for 11+ as well as their GCSES and SATS. I soon temporarily left this role and pursued au-pairing in Italy for 2 months where I was responsible for 3 children and ensured their English improved. Upon returning to the UK, I then landed a job as a summer camp leader for Camp Beaumont where I was in charge for a group of children and led sports and arts based activities in order to impact their summer in a positive way! My teaching style is very flexible since each session depends on the needs of the student in the class as well as what they want to revise, it is also very interactive and engaging with students. My favourite thing about being a tutor is being able to help students understand concepts that they once found difficult-this to me makes my job worthwhile! GCSEs - Maths (8), English Language and Literature (8) A LEVEL - Maths (A), Psychology (A), Biology (A) I am flexible with the exam board as this is dependant on the school, I have taught years 4-10. Outside of teaching I love animals, I go horse riding frequently and love to spend time with my family and friends!
