A bit about Jack B

I am a secondary physics teacher based in the Lake District in the North of England. My experience ranges from all science at KS3 to AQA Physics (Combined and separate) at GCSE and AQA A-Level Physics I am an engineer by trade so I learnt my physics knowledge 'on the job'. I have experience of industry and the application of physics in the real world which really helps put things in terms that you will understand. Students frequently say they enjoy my lessons as they find I have a way of making a scary subject like physics accessible. I can't make it any easier but I can make sure it is broken down into just the right amount of steps that ensures you understand everything you need to have a solid understanding of physics. My lesson vary depending on what it is you are looking for. If it's exam prep time then we will look at the type of questions you find challenging, and discuss what the exam board is looking for and discover any aspects of the theory you need to brush up on. If it's strengthening your understanding you're looking for then we will work through simulations, examples and problems to solve to make sure you have lots of confidence in your physics ability.
