A bit about Chigozie C

Hello, I am Chigozie. With over 7-years of delivering excellent teaching experience across different age categories, I am the right tutor to help you navigate your academic challenges and fulfil your academic goals and ambitions. I can't wait to join you on your academic journey. Thank you. I teach Maths, English, Economics, Business studies, Geography, History, Social science, Further maths, Physical education etc. First I usually introduce myself to my students, create an enabling environment conducive for learning. Secondly, my classes are usually interactive and informative, in that way, it helps in building the confident level of my students. Finally, I teach my students to understand the process before arriving at the answers. Firstly, I started tutoring as a hobby about 12 years ago, then I commercialized it 4 years after. I have taught different age categories starting from 8 years old students to over 50 years old students. I can state that I started tutoring professionally in 2014. The fact that I add value to the academic experience of students gives me so much joy. What I love the most about teaching variety of subjects over the years is the fact that students achieve their academic goals and go ahead to fulfilling the dreams. My teaching style is interactive, informative and pictorial representations. These combinations help in bringing out the best in my students and giving them the needed confidence. The favourite thing about being a tutor is the fact that I am helping to change the trajectory of the academic life of my students. Helping them believe in their academic journey is priceless. My teaching philosophy is patience, understanding, mutual respect and passion. I think the fact that I come down to their level to interact and engage with them while teaching makes it easy for students to love my teaching style. Also, because I make my classes fun-filled, informative and relatable with real life experiences. I have taught over 70 students that have gone ahead to study in a university across the world. Also, I have taught over 100 primary school students that have all entered secondary schools since 2014. I ended up writing A-Levels 9 times. Self determination, tenacity, hard work and perseverance got me where I am in life today.
