A bit about Jo M

Available to teach GCSE Maths (Edexcel & AQA) and A-Level (Edexcel & OCR) Pure, Statistics & Mechanics. I can support you with Exam technique, help with homework or going over a tricky topic you've not quite grasped at school. Edexcel examiner. PGCE Mathematics 2004 BSc Mathematics and Sport & Exercise Sciences (2:1) 1997 A-Levels: Maths (A), Physical Education (A), Biology (B) I like to go through techniques step by step to ensure understanding all the way through. I enjoy breaking things down into simple steps and provide clear notes with no waffle! Once the basics are embedded I will move you onto exam style questions helping you recognise what skills are required and identify a starting point. I love being able to give tailored support, specific to the individual. I love it when students asks questions like 'why?' and 'how?' as it shows they are looking for a deep understanding.
