A bit about Gabriella

Teaching you or your children is my passion. Achieving your full potential, my main target. I believe in your singularity as an individual and the reason I adapt my classes to you, and not the opposite. Full interaction is key to engage you and make you reach your full potential. Having worked with multiple year groups in primary, SEN and tutoring classes proved to me that my students and I feel more comfortable when we work together. Listening and learning to who you are will be the first step to personalise and tailor the way we feel most comfortable working together. It’s not about what you learn, it’s the kind of person that the knowledge will make you out to be. As a human being, play is an essential aspect of your development. Einstein said "Play is the highest form of research”. You and my students enjoy, explore, try, fail, succeed, question everything, play and walk their own path but, always by my side. When someone asks this question, I always remember my history classes and how bored and deflated I felt when this time of the day was approaching. I used to think that I hated history but what I really hated was the lack of interest from my teachers telling me stories that could be wonderful. Nowadays, I watch historical films with my boyfriend, read WWII books and visit museums. Nowadays, I know that it is not about the subject, it's about how you feel towards your lessons. Seeing the spark in your eyes when you start the lesson is the only thing that matters to me. The rest will follow naturally. This is always a tricky question with 2 different answers. Making you feel comfortable, engaged and happy before, during and after the lessons is my main focus and I like to think that this my only specialisation. That's my answer for this question as I believe I need to specialise in your needs. The other answer would be different. More institutional but useful anyway. I speak native English and Greek, plus proficiency French and Spanish. My parents were really clever teaching me languages from very little and I now have a Spanish boyfriend who likes me communicating with his family. I also have experience working with primary and SEN students, both personalised tutoring and groups.
