A bit about Abimbola O

I am a pharmaceutical science graduate, I specialise in biology, chemistry and maths. I have a lot of experience with chemistry and biology as my course was based on chemistry (reactions, drug synthesis and organic chemistry) and biology (the human body, pharmacology and biochemistry). Maths is a topic I thoroughly enjoy and I have had the opportunity to learn more as a lot of STEM professions include a vast amount of mathematic content. I believe in understanding the students personality in order to gauge how they’ll respond to educational content. Once I’ve established how the student learns I will produce a learning game plan according to their academic needs. Creating a safe space for students to learn is the best approach. This helped me through my own education as well! It is honestly rewarding to see a student grow, come into their own and gain the confidence to tackle academic milestones such as external exams. At the end of the day tutoring is about helping a student achieve their dreams and goals and the happiness that brings for students is satisfying for me as their tutor!
