A bit about Nathaniel Z

I believe strongly that every student can learn, and it is my role as a tutor to provide them with the tools and opportunity to do so. My approach to education comes from a lot of student lead knowledge that they can connect to on an individual level. I am willing to work hard so that the students I am responsible for are able to enjoy and engage in their own education. I strive to build up independent thinkers, who are responsible and capable of furthering their own learning journey. Outside of teaching I am a creative and humour driven individual. I take my time enjoying nature and finding other small tidbits of information that interest me. An avid fan of Fantasy and SciFi, I enjoy reading books, listening to creatively made podcasts, and engaging in long-standing dungeons and dragons campaigns with my close friends. I like to set aside time to learn about the interests of those I work with and will eagerly listen to the topics that drive you. Lessons will usually have a basic formula, the start of a lesson will be a short conversational section where we can catch up on our lives and see what our mental needs are for the day. Following this a recap of the last session will take place, we will check our progress and establish the next steps we want to achieve. I will work to ensure that your pace as a learner is taken into consideration as we strive to build a strong base for you to strengthen your skills and knowledge.
