A bit about Masud H

I have over a decade of teaching experience from ages 11-18 in schools and sixth forms, which allows me to swiftly form working relationships with students of varying backgrounds. I am also an expert examiner for the major examining bodies Pearson Edexcel and OCR and therefore able to provide specific feedback with regards to assessment for learning as well as preparation for terminal examinations. I use tutoring to complement learners' school/college maths lessons by keeping regular communication with the topics covered in class to reinforce core mathematical concepts and revise for specific forthcoming tests/examinations. This has resulted in learners achieving their goals, whether that be moving up a set in school or acceptance into their 1st choice Russel Group University. Specialisms: Examination techniques 1. I'll upload tailored lessons to focus on the topics agreed before each session. 2. I'll use your schools/colleges yearly learning plan to work in tandem with what you are learning in your weekly school/college maths lesson. 3. We'll work on at least one exam style/past paper question each lesson (if appropriate). 4. I'll provide additional work on topics requiring further independent study. 5. I'll assist with any problematic questions you may be working on independently, in between sessions, on the condition that evidence of an attempt has been made first.
