A bit about Charles M

Outside of class, I enjoy spending time in the hills: walking, fell-running, rock-climbing, bike-packing, kayaking, and skiing. I’m also a keen badminton and squash player, an avid reader, and can usually be found somewhere between the Tate, ICA, and National Theatre on a rainy afternoon. I've recently finished a 2000 km solo walk across the UK for charity. Wherever possible, I always endeavor to incorporate my love for the natural world and outdoor activity into my tutoring approach. Creative writing and English at all levels. I also have thousands of hours of teaching home-schooled SEN students (both online and in-person). Parents have often asked me to develop a number of specialty teaching practices in order to best help each student with their short and long-term academic goals. I believe that this bespoke approach to each of my students, which usually involves some practical workshop exercises, is what really sets me apart as a tutor. 2015
