A bit about Isha J

I am Isha Joshi. I am a 3rd-year student at Keele University, studying Pharmacy. I am very passionate about Maths, Biology and Chemistry, and am eager to pass on my knowledge to GCSE students. I love teaching and have been teaching Maths and English for 6 years at an education establishment, and I am also an 11+ tutor for the past 8 years. I am very eager to pass on my knowledge to children and help them to succeed in their current and future careers. It would be a privilege to be a part of their success. 11 GCSEs including Maths - Grade 8, English - Grade 8 3 A levels - Biology - Grade B, Chemistry - Grade A, Maths - Grade A I have 5 years of teaching experience in Kumon, teaching Maths and English to children aged 4 to 15, of all abilities. I am also an 11+ assistant tutor for the past 7 years and have helped many students over the years to get admission into their chosen secondary schools. When teaching, I try to make all methods very easy to understand, using examples from everyday life so that they are able to apply their knowledge outside of just exams and textbooks. I make learning fun and motivate students to do their best. My teaching style is very adaptable depending on the age group, and since I have done my GCSE and A levels just a few years back, I can give useful tips and advice from experience to help them achieve results to the best of their abilities. I specialise in Maths and English for primary level students, and Maths, Biology and Chemistry for KS3 and GCSE level students. I have studied Maths, Biology and Chemistry till A-levels and continue to do so in my Pharmacy degree, so will be able to guide students well in these subjects.
