A bit about Chris Y

I have taught A Level Psychology, A Level Physical Education and GCSE Physical Education for over 10 years. I specialise in ensuring students of all ability ranges are able to reach their potential and enable them to access their desired aspirations for the future. I teach in an extremely interactive way, utilising modern technologies and a personable teaching style. Having taught thousands of students, I am extremely experienced in using a range of teaching styles that suit your way of learning best. Ultimately, I use methods suitable to prepare you for all aspects of your course. I qualified as a secondary and Sixth Form teacher over ten years ago and have been teaching students ever since. I have also worked as a Head of Year for years 12 and 13, so am extremely well positioned to offer advice about moving from Key Stage 4 to 5 and the UCAS process, including personal statements. We will usually start with an assessment of your goals and what you hope to achieve. From there, our following lessons will feature starting tasks to demonstrate your current knowledge of a topic area. We will then move on to the main aspect of the lesson. This could feature in depth review of a topic, past exam paper discussions and a chance for you to express the things you find more difficult.
