A bit about Oliver W

My approach is to bring the subject to life! I use my business and life experience to explain things in a real world context, and give lots of examples. I also ask my students to think of examples and help them link different aspects of the course together to help impress the examiner and boost their grades. Students like my relaxed style and the fact that I am well prepared for the lesson. They also enjoy learning about the wider business context and examples from my 30 years of business experience. Students tell me they like it when I ask them to think of examples and encourage them to make connections across the different topic areas. After over 25 years working for large companies and many years as a board director I decided to make a life change. I have been tutoring online for 3 years and have a lot of experience working with students to help them improve and gain the results they want. The thing I have always enjoyed the most is to help people grow and develop, whether through coaching, mentoring or teaching. As well as business studies I also teach English as a second language and act as a coach and mentor. I have a degree in Business Studies, a Post Graduate qualification in Business and Management as well as a TOEFL Certificate for teaching English as a second language. I have over 2,000 hours experience tutoring online.
