A bit about Sharmila A

I always felt extremely lucky to have such good teachers in both German and English. Both subjects can be quite tricky, but with the right teachers they can both accessible and fun to learn. That was my experience in school and I felt inspired to help others love learning and achieve their goals. I have a first-class honors from King's College London in German with English Literature. In addition to this, I have C1/C2 certificates in German (CEFR). C2 is the highest level of language obtainment that you can achieve in a foreign language. I also hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate for teaching English as a Foreign Language. Finally, I have an MSc in psychology with distinction. I have over eight years of experience tutoring English Literature and German, and I have also been tutoring history for 7 years. I have 4 years of experience teaching English as a Foreign Language and 2 years experience tutoring psychology. As well as helping students to achieve the grades they want, the greatest success for me is when I can genuinely spark interest in a subject they previously found dull or challenging.
