A bit about Lucia G

I am a Management and French student studying in London. I achieved A*A*A* grades at A Level, studying Maths, French and Spanish. I am a native Spanish and English speaker and have an advanced/near fluent level of French thus I am a pro with the AQA GCSE and A Level Spanish and French Specification. I am also a pro with the Edexcel GCSE and A Level Math Specification given my methodical yet simple approach when teaching it. In regards to Maths, my teaching methods are the following: 1. Introduce the topic, why and for what it's used for in Maths. 2. Using examples, we go through the different styles of questions that could appear. 3. Make concise notes by outlining key rules, potential mistakes, things to look out for etc... 4. Practice Questions 5. You teach me (this is not compulsory but highly beneficial!) In regards to Spanish and French, my approach to teaching differs. Because languages are harder to learn, I focus more on what the Spec wants from you in order to get those 9's and A*'s. - For the Writing and Speaking sections, I'll go through language structures, vocabulary, verb tenses, pronunciation, expressions etc that will impress the examiner. - For the Reading and Listening sections, I will give you tricks on how to tackle the exam paper as well as tips and recommended sites to familiarise yourself with the language, e.g French radio etc. The sillier the questions, the more you learn! A Level: GCSE: Spanish A* 9 French A* 9 Maths A* 8 Having achieved top grades in both GCSEs and A Levels, it is safe to say I have found the tips and tricks in these subjects that have help me secure these grades. I sat my A Levels in 2021 and so all the information is still very fresh in my mind. - Conversational/ General Spanish - AQA GCSE/ A Level Spanish and French Edexcel GCSE/ A Level Maths
