A bit about Agnes L

I am an energetic, enthusiastic primary school teacher currently teaching KS2. I have experience across primary years from Year Two to Year Six and have deep subject and curriculum knowledge. I have a holistic approach to learning and believe in finding the right approach to help each learner achieve their goals. Every pupil is capable of achieving their goals. With the correct support, scaffolding and time, every child can excel at learning. I aim to provide tailored support to help you achieve, whilst making learning fun too! Together, we can discuss your learning needs and find creative, interactive ways to achieve your goals. I am a very crafty person and am a life-long learner myself, teaching myself to knit, draw and paint and developing these skills. I aim to apply my skills of commitment and determination to help students reach their learning goals. My other passion is the outdoors. I love to walk and spend my free time out exploring the countryside. I graduated from the University of St. Andrews with a 2:1 in Psychology (BSc). My teaching qualification was awarded from the University of Durham, where I completed my PGCE (Primary) with merit. After all this studying, I became a Primary School teacher in 2021. I currently teach Year Four in a Gateshead school.
