A bit about Gloria N

Hello, my name is Gloria and I'm an undergraduate student in my last year of university. I have had the opportunity to teach teenagers, immigrant and foreign adult students while studying at university and as I am in my final semester, I can say I have the skills and experience to teach a variety of students regardless of their starting level. I specialise in TEFL, ESL and TESOL, so if you need help with english related studies, translations from other languages (french, Italian) or simply improve your conversation, I'm available 5 days a week. I plan on having first: an oral introduction and a short online test to asses the proficiency level, from then on the lesson will be structure in the way to develop talking and reading skills motly. Grammar will be explore in dept only if requested, otherwise it is more practical to focus on everyday language that can help the students in their everyday life situation. I love helping develop talking and conversational speaking skills with real life transcript of interaction students may encounter everyday. A total immersion keeps the mind focused, engage and familiarize with the language, additionally it solicit active feedback from the students which it's crucial in gaining student interest in the lessons My teaching style focuses more on receptive skills with interactive elements such as videos, paddle, quizzlet and relevant texts. However I'm also prepared in teaching language focus tasks, such as pre-teaching vocabulary and grammar ahead of tasks. It's the opportunity to help at my best students of all ages, because everyone needs a chance and opportunities to improve their skills for future plans. I like planning for face to face lessons when I get the chance to, with private families and relatives. I'm in the process of getting my degree in English and TEFL, I have a native engish proficiency certificate and TKT for adults and young learners. As I think about my journey in learning English I have encountered many obstacles that may have been easier to deal with if I had a tutor, teacher or mentor to look over my progress, for that reason I want to be the person I needed when I was younger to aspiring english speakers.
