A bit about Alan M

I read with great enthusiasm, enjoy reading new authors as well as writing and creating some of my teaching material. I have been a writer for national newspapers and magazines for many years as well as writing for television and the biography of a well-known All Black rugby player, a sport for which I have a lifelong passion. Extensive experience in 7+, 8+, 11+ and 13+ in Entrance examinations, as well as offering specialist support and guidance for those students with additional and special needs. An introduction to what is going to be covered and why, especially for new and inexperienced students. Then, on to the main element of the planned and prepared lesson, followed by a review of what was attempted and what was actually achieved. Some fifteen years ago, tutoring students from schools where I was teaching. Every lesson is a journey of discovery, uncovering new words, new skills and new experiences.
