A bit about Taimoor A

I specialise in IB SL/GCSE/IGCSE/KS2/KS3/KS4 Mathematics and I have knowledge of various exam boards such as OCR, AQA, Edexcel and so on. My priority is always to build a good relationship with my students as I want students to have full trust in me and are comfortable in making mistakes infront of me. I also think biggest issue in mathematics is usually the lack of confidence students have, so I also make it a priority to give my students the confidence they need. I am a Qualified mathematics teacher from UK with 4 years of experience. I have a PGCE in Mathematics secondary and bachelors in BENG Aeronautical engineering. I am a highly effective, creative and teacher. I have gained much valuable experience in secondary schools through my placement, and during a year spent teaching internationally in the UAE. I have a talent for engaging students, and helping to improve their academic success through the promotion of critical thinking and success- building skills. I have experience of teaching medically vulnerable and SEND students and helping them develop strong learning skills. I possess a natural ability to understand, inspire and teach others, and believe my passion and commitment will make me an excellent addition to any team My passion towards mathematics has been integral in both my professional and educational life and by Teaching mathematics it has allowed me to pass this passion on to pupils and I have thoroughly enjoyed the transition into teaching and delivering mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 that inspire pupils to maximise their progress in the subject. Teaching has fulfilled a sense of drive and purpose that I did not always get from previous professional roles and I relish the new challenges that are presented daily, always striving towards being an outstanding mathematics teacher.
