A bit about Andrew W

I currently teach mathematics at KS3/GCSE level, but I have also taught A-Level Maths (specialising in mechanics). I have taught for 30 years, I have also marked KS3, GCSE and A-Level exams for the examination boards(AQA, Edexcel &OCR). Over the years I have tutored across the full age and ability range. My starting point with all tutees is to find out exactly their requirement. If it is particular topics, I will prepare some introductory notes together with some practice examples and then followed by some independent questions to be followed up at the next lesson. At GCSE I do not mind tutoring at either Foundation Tier or Higher Tier level. Again I have extensive experience as a teacher (becoming Head of Mathematics in a very successful state school), I have taught in both the state and independent sectors.
