A bit about Prayag Kotecha

I have been teaching for 6 years! I completed my undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at UCL, and then I did a masters in Development Economics. Now I'm going to be heading to Oxford University to do my teaching degree. Aside from education, I love travelling, climbing and playing the flute! I teach Mathematics, Economics and Philosophy up to A-Level. I also teach English and Spanish to GCSE level. I am happy to help with tuition for specific exams, or more general tuition to get my students thinking outside the box. The most important thing for me is to see all the subjects we study as related. Maths helps us understand the world - so I like to teach it in the context of its applications, such as the maths behind how plants grow, or the mathematics involved in video game coding and sports. English too must be taught with context - I like my students to challenge their own views about the world as they learn. I have 6 years of experience teaching Maths and English up to A-Level. I have also taught debating, sports, music and Spanish as after school clubs. I am currently studying towards my QTS at the University of Oxford.
