A bit about Tracey S

I specialise in helping students who have emigrated (for work, education or family) to the UK all aspects of the English language, especially helping my students to improve their pronunciation and fluency so that they become comfortable and confident with conversational English. I believe with the right support and kindness anyone can learn to speak English with confidence. I was a coach and trainer of customer service skills and recruiter in the business and financial sector for over 30 years and am also a trained Pilates teacher. I am married with two grown-up sons, both of who have dyslexia so I understand the difficulties English brings and am happy to work with students who find English challenging. I live near the beautiful city of York in England, I love, travel, walking, reading, art, creative writing (I have had two stories published) and most importantly my lovely students. My dream is to travel around Europe in my small mobile home called 'The Motorhope' while teaching English, exploring new exciting cultures, and writing about my experiences. I am a fun positive teacher and I believe in treating my students with kindness and respect. I plan all my lessons in advance based on the needs of the individual student. Most of my lessons will include: improving grammar, expanding vocabulary, helping students to become confident with their listening and conversational skills.
